Day 97: Tash's Debut

A friend's debut. I was totally not feeling well today. This morning I woke up feeling so sick. Moving was slow motion. It got to the point where I thought I wasn't in the right planet. haha. I thought I wouldn't be able to make it to Tash's debut, but I did. Though my body was aching, what made it interesting was this cute boy at table 4. Oh gosh, that was funny. This part of the party will be memorable ;)

Day 358: Unexpectedly Fun

I wasn't going to go to my parent's household Christmas party tonight because I wanted to watch the Big Bang Theory and play Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood instead. My brother didn't even feel like going either. BOY I'M GLAD I CAME! Omgoodness, it was actually very fun! I loved the games they set out, it was one of the most fun times (beside the G.O.B Christmas Party) I've had in a while! Who knew adults could be so fun? LOL obviously I'm just joking. I find it funny how there's such a gap between teenagers and adults. Like, teenagers tend to gossip. And to think that our parents did the same thing when they should be the ones setting good examples to us. But actually, they too gossip!

Anyway, the last game was Chubby Bunny. I forced and then encouraged (lol) my brother to join in. I told him if he goes, I'd go too. It turns out, he exceeded everyone else's number of marshmallows in their mouths! The prize? A $50 card for this restaurant whose name I forgot. Anyway, I'm really glad I came tonight :D

Day 355: A Very G.O.B Christmas

BEST. GOB. CHRISTMAS. PARTY. EVAAR. Today was filled with so much fun and getting to know each other. I took a lot of pictures, so the memories will be somewhat permanent. I guess I don't need to say everything here for me to remember, the pictures will help remind me. But one of the favorite things we did today was when we played the questions game. I found out some things about my friends I didn't know.. err probably forgot about. We had a ginger bread house contest and even though both Charlotte and I were "artists", ours was the ugliest LOL. We messed up with our icing bag and so everything after that became messy. We did many things, and I'm so glad we made it work for this year. This was pretty much our first official G.O.B Christmas Party 2010. The only one missing though? Chinenye, she had to leave early. Oh wells, hopefully we get to do this again next year. THANKS GUYS FOR TODAY! It was really fun! LOVE YOU ALL! <3

Day 354: Sleep Over

I'm sleeping over tonight at my friend's house for our G.O.B Christmas party tomorrow! I won't say what the acronym is... we made this group name in elementary and it's sort of lame now lol. And because they don't want to change it, well then it stays as it is.
So here I am 10 o'clock at night at Sunridge mall reading a book on the kids area... alone. One of my friends is still wrapping gifts (volunteering) and the other went to the dollar store. I was enjoying the moment actually, just reading there at night without a care of what other people think. I like days like these. After that we went to Superstore to buy some things we need for tomorrow. Then picked up another friend and went straight to Jill's house. What did we do the rest of the night? Wrapped more presents and then watched a movie late late late at night (actually it was around 1 in the morning). I stopped halfway because two of them fell asleep and told the other we'd finish it later in the morning lol.

Day 294: Day Not Wasted

I didn't have a choice but to go to a family friend's baptism party. I've got a whole bunch of homework on my plate and to add it up, I'm just too deern busy this weekend. So I thought I'd be wasting my time waiting for the party to end, but surprisingly, it wasn't a waste after all!

If you find this, well it's been a while since we've talked. I'm glad your parents forces you to go to events like today, otherwise we wouldn't have had a good conversation! Most guys I talk to wouldn't dare to discuss what you and I talked about. They would rather just talk about boy stuff, although I did gave you the chance to talk about what guys talk about lol. But you didn't mind. It's nice to know there are guys like you out there, gives me hope I'll find someone who I could talk anything and random things about without having to worry about shutting up lol. The thing is, you really didn't mind. You didn't show signs of "OMG she keeps talking". You gave me your opinion and I really respect you for that. Furthermore, it wasn't awkward. Now I wished I got to know you better before, then maybe we'd be great friends today :) Oh yeah, remember when you said you remembered seeing me working on my math homework loong time ago and you thought I was cool for that (PSSSH yeah rightt)? Well I realized just mins after you left that I actually brought my math with me today. That would've been a fun conversation lol. You should know, math is my least favorite subject.

Anyway.. yeah I brought my math homework to a party lol. But that doesn't matter, at least someone thinks I'm cool for that :] BUT THEN all these kids started gathering around when they saw me giving paper and a pencil to a kid. Fortunately, I had enough pencils and paper for them all. But unfortunately, I couldn't pay attention. So I ended up conversing with some of them and admiring this little CUTIE who was soo freaking cute! I guess my homework plan didn't work.

Lastly, I let Nathaniel hold my hand.. err finger on the way home. Usually he'd let go (because he moves his arms everywhere) but today he kept on holding. He was wide awake and staring at the night sky, and I was expecting for him to eventually let go. But he didn't, he held my finger tightly the whole ride home. It felt nice. When we finally arrived, I tried moving my finger but he was still holding so tightly. Moments like that mean so much to me. I love my baby brothurr <3

Time to go to bed. Goodnight :)

Day 70: Leader's Assembly

I went to a Leader's Assembly for YFC/KFC today. I wasn't sure if I should go since I missed the Covenant Orientation (went to YMCA Leader's Conference). It was saddening for me that the C.O's date was changed from Feb 20th to Feb 27th and I already had YMCA on that weekend which meant I have to wait for another C.O to be an official member of Kids for Christ. Gaah. But they said that I'm still in KFC since they knew that I was coming but the date was changed >.<. Anyway, I had a fun time today. See that picture? It was one of two activities they planned for us and what we needed to do was have one blank paper taped on everyone's back and have everyone write something nice about that person. Most of my comments are about my graphite drawings though but that's okay lol. We also had a sandwich competition where the number of questions we answer correctly counts for the number of ingredients we can put on our sandwich. We had to make it creative and delicious though since the judges were going to taste the sandwiches. After the assembly, I went to Jill's house for her party. I had a really great time! I would like to write tons about it but it seems that this paragraph is too long now. But to summarize some up: JILL YOU HAD SUCH GOOD FOODS, thanks for making me super full ;), Louie I am so going to beat you next time on ketchup, Karaoke :), piano (you guys are so addicted), ROCKBAND on drums, Kristine getting stuck in the washroom LOL, me getting stuck in the washroom too (but got out by myself hehe), and so much more! :)
