I found this at my parent's room. I thought it was the coolest tiniest thing the moment I found it! Aha, the only problem? I can't find the usb cord so I'm going to have to wait for my dad to come home and ask him whether he has the cord, or if he found this teeny camera thus explains why he doesn't have a cord. >.< Hopefully he does have it! It's tiny alright. I took two pictures already and stopped before I waste its memory space.
So cold outside!
I attended a Youth Power event for Youth for Christ today. I think this is my first time attending this if they had these events before. At around 10:00 AM we started the day by singing/worshipping. They presented a couple of talks and ate lunch in between. Then we headed to the Drop In Center to volunteer. It was part of their activity that we volunteer during Youth Power. You wouldn't believe how many people there were. SO MANY! Anyway, the Drop In Center is a place where people who don't have a place to go can stay. These are basically homeless people. We were told that 85% of them actually get sobered up and start working while the rest stay for as long as they can. It's my second time here. I volunteered before and served them food some time ago. This time though, our schedule and plans changed as the person who knew about us wasn't there, so we got a tour of the building instead.
In the clothing room, I saw this quote, "Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life". I read something like this before and really liked it, so I took a photo. It's nice to be reminded on the important things in life through a quote. Because we do forget. Anyway, today was a good day. Saw new faces, got to know more people, and turned red a few times. Gosh. WHYYY. >.<
You're not the only one who is hurting you know. I'm not perfect and neither are you. I screw up, you screw up, we all screw up. You should know, it's not my fault nor is it anybody else's fault that you aren't the person you wished to be. You responded quite angrily and negatively. It's up to you to change the wrong that's happened in your life. And above all, it's not my actions nor anybody's actions that made you that way.. it's how you responded to the situation. Stop thinking about how others wronged you, it was you all along that caused the misery that is now your life.
-sigh- I am now mad. And maybe I don't mean the things I've said and the things I'm thinking now, but you really need to get yourself together and stop being so childish. GEEZ.
Thanks guys for coming! I was seriously surprised. Still, I can't quite shake the fact that you guys still stink for surprising me like that. Thank you anyways for the McDonalds, it was sweet of you all =)
Watched hours of Star Portraits with my Art 30 AP class. I overslept, but good thing it wasn't for attendance. Then I bought Pho. I was craving. Aww yeee.
We're all trying to move forward, but which way should we take?
Gonna get me some more of these.
That's a better idea. Maybe it's the right decision, for me at least.
Went to a Forever Living meeting that my mom wanted me to go to. See that third guy from the right? That's Harold Greene, the Forever Living Senior Vice President of Sales in Canada. I won't explain much, but he contacted my tito (uncle) Anthony after finding out from their database that there was a Forever Living network growing here in Calgary. Him, my parents and a bunch of other people have just started this business network and has been growing. The business itself is over 30 years old fyi. I've seen their marketing plan and well, it's not like any other marketing plan out there. Since they've got our attention, there'll be many more meetings in the future. One thing to keep in mind when going to these meetings is to never come alone, so that a friend and whoever else can see why Forever Living Products work and why their marketing plan works as well. I'm still a little shaky about it, but I'll keep an open mind because their products have helped millions of people and saved people's lives as well. The stories people shared are pretty fascinating too.
Ha! I do what I want lol.
I feel silly. Giggling and smiling to myself. I've gone nuts. A remedy? Stay away from the computer perhaps. Alright, I'm gonna read a book.
English 30-1 Exam DONE! What to do with the remaining days of no school..
I made a homemade taho (another filipino desert) a couple days ago. It's almost like the ones I tasted from the Philippines, but not quite. Hmm. Just close enough.
Studying the English 30-1 Key and pretending like I'm taking the exam using the 2004 diploma provided at the back of this key. What fun.
PHEW. So I suddenly became one of the MCs for my friend's 18th birthday. I was pretty nervous because this was my first time doing so! I was going to decline tita's (my friend's mother) request, but I figured I should just try it out to see just how much I can handle these types of things and also how nervous it'll make me -__-. Anyway, overall we had a great night. Kristine was very surprised and had no clue what was in store for her. One goal was: to make her cry. LOL or at least very touched.
ALSO, the video I made for her ALMOST wasn't played because they had technical difficulties with including the audio with the video. But in the end, things worked out well :D I hope this was a night you'll remember for a looong time Kristine, Happy 18th birthday =)
I finished making a surprise video for my friend's 18th birthday tomorrow! :)
Looks sort of brand new, yah? Well this is my old camera I got from boxing day a couple years ago. I don't use it anymore. Because the screen cracked.. asdfghjkl. It really makes me sad whenever I think of how careless I was. UGH. If I still had this, it would have been so much easier to bring and take pictures with. It's pretty much the size of a cell phone too. -___-
Today is our last school day before the exams. And tomorrow I'll be doing my English 30-1 Diploma exam. Ahh! Goodluck to me. >.<
So I brought my yema balls with me today and wondered who should be the first to try one? Since the bell rang, I let two people from my physics class try one. They liked it! :D Pretty much everyone who tried it really liked it! :D :D :D Haha, this makes me want to learn making more other deserts and food this year. I've already put up a list to which I'll be making :D
So I had a physics exam today. It was our last class exam before the final. I think I did bad on it since I didn't really study. BUT, I found out that I have a 93% average! WHICH MEANS, if I do bad, I guess it won't affect my mark that much *cross fingers* hopefully. Oh mah gosh. Maybe I should just become some sort of engineer instead haha.
In this picture, some of us from art class decided to stay after school to do a farewell board for father Lu. He's leaving for Roma so we helped out in doing something for him for tomorrow. My art teacher said it was going to be father Lu day tomorrow so tonight, she'll also be doing something for him. We stayed 'till 7 pm and talked about random stuff... especially boys and my boy problem lol.
I LOVE rice pudding! So gooood! :D
I waited a long time today without doing anything. Then read statuses of people talking about how it kept snowing. When Tim came to pick me up, it was then that I realized just how cold and windy it was outside!
So today we had a Leader's Assembly meeting. I've forgotten that I was made into a household assistant (there's a bunch of levels above and underneath that) and was told that I'll be made into a household leader instead. I was pretty surprised, I wasn't really sure what being a household leader does. Not only that, I was surprised because I didn't attend a previous event which was a requirement to become a household leader. But, they said they'll do something about that. So I guess I'm a household leader now? And I've got a bunch of people I'm "responsible" for and to call for upcoming events. Also, we have big plans as well, I guess I'll talk about that some other time.
Anyway, we watched the grudge 2 here. LOL. You wouldn't believe this, but the guys were pretty scared. I've seen this before and it wasn't that scary.. for me at least haha.
I've made some yema balls today! It took a while to finish, but it was worth it! Yema balls is a filipino desert made of egg yolks and condense milk if you didn't know. So inside these little containers are the yema balls and I plan to bring them to school and give one yema to whoever might want to try it! Alrighty, it taste pretty good so I hope people will like it :)
UNLESS.. I eat them all before Monday.. LOL. Ah, I'll try not to.
In the beginning, I've never thought about putting a picture of myself for this project. I've seen other people who have a project 365, but MOST of their photos are of themselves smiling, posing and etc. No offense, but unless it actually has some sort of effort and creativity, it gets irritating when that's all they post about! Anyway, this is the second time I've photographed myself. The first was on this post when I realized that I should put at least one photo of me.
Hmmm.. I guess I can't really say what this project 365 is all about. People are allowed to post whatever it is that brings back memories for them, and I shouldn't judge them for what they post whether it be themselves or something else. I guess I'm just a little irritated when I see project 365's of people I know and all I see are photos of their faces >.<.
P.S: This was the only photo I took for the day! This was for an art assignment I'll be doing. So yeah, this is half of my face right hurr :P
I've added a lot of songs to this 2GB ipod nano. If I keep this rate up, I'm going to need another ipod!
Diploma Examinations Schedule: January 2011. I only have one diploma to get through, and a physics exam if I don't exempt that. And since I'm in math AP, I would have to take that diploma this June.
So after days of wondering whether or not I should continue another year, I've decided to give 365 another go!
So looking back *looks back on monthly photos*... WOW, I've forgotten certain things that happened! OH MAH GASH. Just knowing at least one thing I did everyday for the last year, and all the nice and warm memories rushing back, is all the more reason to do another 365! So reflecting back, I've noticed I was a better "photographer" than I am now. My compositions were better and I actually put time and effort on those photos. Now I just tell myself to find a subject, take a photo and be done with it. That's one thing I need to improve on, getting better in composition. Hmmm, I have a feeling I might not, since I'll be BUSY as I have so many core subjects this second semester! But that doesn't mean I won't try.
So looking back at myself. Oh gosh, compared to last year, I can really say that I am NOT the same. This year was a whole lot of change, trying new things, daring myself, discovering parts of me I didn't know, doing things I never thought I'd do, etc etc. Overall, this year was a whole lot of experiences added to who I am now. I can honestly say I'm not the same and continually changing everyday. Eh, why am I not putting my heart into this paragraph? This should be written from the heart, but I'm chatting with my best buddies right now and it's a little hard to pay attention lol. ANYWAY, I won't make it emotional, this is poorly written but whatever, it's my blog :P

WOW. I COMPLETELY lost track of time! I didn't know that when I took this picture, it was already my LAST DAY for my project 365! Omgoodness... I took such a bad photo too lol. Well this wasn't what I had in mind! Ugh, ugly photo for the last day which should have been a good photo but instead I had to not mind what day it was and took this. -____- If you're wondering, this is a photo of my English major poetry assignment (oh, you can see it there haha, and guess what? I got 100% on it!).Hmm, I cannot believe I took such a bad photo for this last day..... how disappointing. OH WELL, it's not the end of the world so it's alright!
P.S: Sorry if you were expecting something awesome and saw this instead...uumm, surprise? LOL.
How Am I spending the New Years? Re-watching X-men of course.. lol. I totally forgot what had happened on the first movie, so I've decided to watch it again while eating noodles with chopsticks.
