Day 210: Museum and Inception

My friends and I went to Glenbow Museum today and saw a lot of great artworks from various types of artists. There were paintings, sculptures, rocks, drawings etc etc. I enjoyed looking at the art and also had the chance to take some photos of my friends and I at some artworks where we weren't sure if we could take a photo of. Yep, we just had to.. for memories! But I guess we knew that the little image of a camera with a slash was the warning that we weren't allowed to take a photo... lol. Oh well. I actually got a little souvenir from the gift shop.. it's a little tiny book with blank papers! I just had to buy it.. so I could sketch some things in mini versions hehe. So after a few hours of staying there and looking around, we finally headed to Chinook Mall to watch Inception. We waited for another friend of ours and by the time we were done eating at the food court and finally have her find our table we sat at, we decided to play some card games before we headed to the theatre. We bought our tickets already so all we needed to worry about was to get there before we lose the good seats (we watched it in IMAX!). Inception's concept was really good. Though I still think that Avatar (the awe and wonder I got from watching the movie) is number one lol. But I guess this movie (creativity etc etc) is second to Avatar.. for me. Anyway, I had fun today, thanks guys! :D

Day 209: Jogging

I went jogging this morning around the school near my house. I was planning to jog for 30 mins, but got tired and lazy lol. Actually, I didn't noticed that I was running, so I got tired mins after I told myself to slow down and just jog. I plan to do this again and probably jog with my brother (he was supposed to jog with me, but he bailed out since he was still in bed). Hopefully I can burn away the fats and calories I've given myself for the past few days haha. That's what summer can do to some people, make them eat like crazy! Anyway, as I was walking towards my house I found a bird with this tiny ball in its mouth. I was going to take a picture, but it flew away and landed on a rooftop across the street. Then the ball dropped and bounced to the ground then stopped on a grass. It was a little entertaining so I went to get it. I took a picture of it just outside my house and then threw it somewhere where birds won't think it's food. Yep, interesting mornig.

Day 208: Smile :D

And he did just that :) ... and some cute baby rants later on haha.

Day 207: Bald and Cute

I took photos of Arielle on this same couch and was going to post a picture of her.. but then my mom came along holding Nathaniel and so I decided to take photos of him as well. I really liked this picture, even though the background is a little distracting. But this is probably the first photo where he is posed this way! Hehe, I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of these but with a different kind of background. TOO CUTE!!! :D

Day 206: AWESOME Hang Out

After over an hour of waiting for Alex- the birthday boy- some of the R.O.C.K Leaders and I finally stopped at the cafeteria and sat at the long table. We were still waiting for him as some of us ate and conversed with each other (how ironic for him to be late!). Initially our plan was to watch a movie but we finally agreed to go to ate Junnel's house and just.. hang out! Honestly, I had an AWESOME time. I got to finally play Monopoly (world version) for the first time even though I was still unclear on some rules. Not knowing completely of what I was doing, I still managed to be pretty ballin' in the end haha. We played some chess and then Brawl & Mario Kart on Wii. Favorite game of the day/night? (Yeeaah we played until 10 P.M =) It was a game whose name I actually don't know. lol. HOWEVER, it was really fun and I had a really great time :D Can't wait for the next hang out after this! Thanks for an awesome hang out guys! :)

Day 205: Dangerous Streets

I told Arielle that I would take her outside if she cleaned up her sticker book and put them to their right places. She did. Haha, this kid loves to go outside. So I took her out around the block and also took pictures too. I don't like walking outside with Arielle though. Not because I hate it, but because I'm afraid that she would let go of my hand and head to the streets. Hrmrm, so let me re-phrase that. I like to walk with her outside, but I'm scared she might get hurt if I let her walk independently. Plus, she tricks me too. She says that I can hold her hand throughout the walk, but then later on she lets go and runs around as freely as she wants. >.< Maybe I should get a leash... LOL JOKES. But yeah, have you ever been in that situation before? I guess I'll have to endure these moments until she grows up a little and learn the dangers of the streets. Then I can walk with her without any worries. Oh shoot, there's still my little baby brother. haha.

Day 204: Pink Glasses

We were looking for baptism clothes for Nathaniel to wear next month. Then... my brother and I found a stall full of sunglasses. We then tried a lot of different ones on Nathaniel and almost bought a blue one too. Haha, this one was one of the clearest picture I took with my cell phone. :D

Day 203: Life in a Day

So I recently found out about this project called "Life in a Day" on Youtube which is also going to be turned into a movie in a few months from now. I was interested in it and so I decided that I was going to contribute. I even wrote down a note to remember that July 24th was the day and THE ONLY day to start filming whatever it is I want to film in my life. I also charged my dad's video camera so I could start filming just about anything I want. THEN.. I got busy with the family commission I was drawing, became lazy to grab the camera and on top of all, my family went out for a baptism. I wanted to film my baby brother and Arielle but they had to leave with them of course. It wasn't really a big deal, since I was starting to change my mind about contributing. Anyway, this picture I took were some of the questions that the director wanted the contributors to answer. I wrote this down this morning thinking that I was going to participate. lol, oh wells.

Day 202: The Other Drawing

Here's a glimpse of the family commission that I'm drawing. I'm finally done one out of the five of them- though there are still a few things that needs fixing..I'll do that some other time. Anyway, I also got to finish the mouth of the glee drawing today. It's looking pretty okay so far, but I feel it's a teeny bit challenging for me because I'm using a different type of paper. I'm pretty excited, but I gotta sink that in so I won't disappoint myself if the result looks bad. Hopefully I can balance these drawings out, though the most important one that I should focus on more is the family commission. But I really like working on the Glee drawing.. so far haha. Well, nighty night.

Day 201: Drawing Again!

So today I worked on mostly the family commission I was asked to draw and then I started on a Glee drawing just after dinner. I haven't drawn in a long time actually, and because of this I feel a little insecure to draw. So I decided to use the grid again. Well, obviously I'll need the grid for the family commission but I really want to draw without the grid. I used to be confident drawing free hand before, but then I started using the grid and well... now I feel imprisoned by it. It's not a bad thing to use that method, it's just that I want to improve. I want to learn to draw without relying on a grid to make the proportions right. Maybe I'm just overreacting... as always. Haha, well... here's a picture of the Glee drawing I'm working on. I won't reveal who, but you can start guessing hehe. Though I do want to thank a certain someone for inspiring me to finally start drawing this... since I've been wanting to for a while now. How lame is it that I'm finally drawing this because I found out that this guy liked the show? I'm soooo laame. haha. >.<

Day 200: Eating at Pho

I should be posting something special for my 200th post, but really this is all I have right now. I totally forgot that I brought along my dad's camera so I used my phone camera to take a photo. Shoot. Anyways, my friends and I planned to eat at Pho and then head to a movie at a park (2 out of 4 of us actually for the movie). I really wanted to watch that movie but Kristine said that we'd have to go home at a very late time. I knew that, but I guess I gave in because I didn't want any of us to worry about getting a ride home. So, we just ate, talked and then went to the dollar store. Haha, they wanted to go there, so I just went along. Favorite part of the day? Talking to my friends at Pho and the dollar store. I guess I missed them a little. LOL joke guys I miss you a lot. :) Can't wait to hang out some more before school starts!

Day 199: Stickers!

While I was playing Mario Kart, she was busy taking stickers out from her little sticker pad. I really didn't bother to know what exactly she was doing, but I did saw her at the corner of my eye. Then my brother came and tried to tell me, but I was so into the game of beating the other players that what he said just passed through me. A while later I stood up, and saw a bunch of little stickers on the floor! Being the lazy person that I was, I left her having fun and went downstairs. Then my mom called me a few mins later to take a picture of Arielle. I was curious why, then I saw Arielle with stickers all over her face! LOL, my mom can be immature sometimes. This proves that even when we are at an old age, being a little immature just won't disappear that quickly. You'll still have that inner kid in you! :)

Day 198: Distracted

Today I wasted my time. It was a little hard to concentrate on what I want and need to do next, but I was still in KV mode! I had songs stuck in my head the whole day. And I kept singing Radio and Rainbow to my brother and baby cousin! I even made them do some actions haha. Man, I can't believe I'm not going to the YFC conference in Vancouver... I REALLY want to, but my situation right now won't allow that. And I was distracted >.< My mind won't stop thinking about things haha. But it's all good, I gotta make a decision soon for YFC conference. If I don't go, I'm going to MISS OUT on so much stuff! Gaaha afdljalksdnflk. Anyway, here's the cross I got from the banner MJ cut yesterday. I miss these people already. >.< Gosh, gotta make a decision soon. Arrghhggh.

Day 197: Last Day for KV

I had a better sleep this morning than I thought I would last night. I think I was in deep sleep, since when I woke up... it felt like I fell asleep just 5 mins after really sleeping. Hrmmrm, maybe their was a side effect from the McDonalds we ate late at night? Haha, chyeah, we bought McDonalds just before we went to sleep. Anyway, today is the last day for Kids Village. It sucks... a lot. We worked so hard for everything, and now we had to say goodbye. Actually after the play was done I felt tearing up a little. We were told to throw and recycle the props and backdrops and I felt sad that all those hard work and preparations will just be.. over and done. It was hard for me to take a prop and throw it away. I ended up just staring all over the place as everyone else were cleaning up. My set design partner probably felt the same way, but he was strong enough to do what was hard for me to do. I didn't cry though, but I felt like it. Anyway, we only had up until around 2pm then Kids Village would be done. For this last day, we went to mass just as we did from yesterday. And because we were so tired (woke up again early, around 5am), many of us fell asleep during mass >.<. I fell asleep at the beginning, and then tried my best not to fall the rest of mass. Gah. I also fell asleep at yesterday's mass too. I really was tired! I realize that when we are with the kids, we gotta show tons of energy, like A LOT. So after that, we made the kids sing a lot of songs and worship their hearts out to God. I was dancing along with the actions, and it was a little harder because I just didn't have enough energy. Gash...I need to excercise! Near the end, we cut the banner that I drew into pieces. Everyone deserved a piece, and I got the special piece! I told Junnel if I could have the cross, and they saved it for me :D Hehe, I made everyone signed it after and got a lot of hugs too :) I'll miss the people from Vancouver and Edmonton! Wish I had enough time to get to know them, but I guess I'll have that chance on different events. When we left, we actually headed to Cross Iron Mills just to hang out with Laurie from Vancouver and show her around. Then after finding out that the people from Edmonton were also there, some of us waited for them for a looooong time on this one place. But it was fun, we got to talk some... interesting stuff hehe ;). THEN we headed to Bubblemania.. and the guys at our table (separated from the others) bought A LOT of chicken. I think over 100 pieces of chicken. It was crazy, Laurie was pretty surprised and didn't eat as much while I ate as much as I could as I was hungry. Thanks to the guys for providing for the girls by paying for the food! .... They just wouldn't take my money >.< This weekend really was amazing, I can't wait until we have another event like this! I love you guys!

Day 196: A Great Day & Night

Sorry for the bad quality, but all I had with me was my camera phone! But hey, at least I was able to take a photo for today! Speaking of today... IT WAS CRAZEEH GREAT! The kids had a fun time and I guess we really tire them out in the morning when they had to do the challenges and the workshops. And to be honest, I became really tired as well. Partly because I only had less than 4 hours of sleep last night. It was hard to sleep (lol Ave, you cutie pie) but I eventually fell asleep I guess? Oh, and btw, the girls and boys stayed at different rooms at the house they rented for the Kids Village team. Anyway, I wasn't able to dance along the actions for the worship songs as energetic as I could.. I was just really tired. From one challenges/workshops to another, they were really very far from each other outside. Plus, I was wearing slippers... and also because we had to wake up at around 4am as we were getting picked up at around 5:30am. But regardless, it was all worth it. Favorite part of the day? When I saw just how focused the kids were when they were watching the play, "The Adventures of Addie and Ben". Man, each and everyone of those kids had their heads pointed towards the actors. It was so cute too when they participated at the part where Ben and Addie asked the kids to pray along with them. The only little thing that failed on us where the covers at the "sidestage". The last cover fell down and I was actually behind that, so as I was reading the script to find the next transition, the blue cover fell down and my jaw dropped. It was pretty funny, I had that expression as I was moving myself to the right to hide sideways. Haha. But all in all, it was an amazing day and night. The food was great too hehe.

Day 195: Fancy Restaurant

Kids Village starts today!!! All those 4 months of hard work are finally going to be put to use. So if you hadn't guessed it correctly, the picture you see here is our venue for Kids Village! Pretty nice, huh? Hehe, I loved how they put GOD in replacement for Jack. Haha. Anyway, before the kids arrived, we did a play practice. And to make the atmosphere feel like the real thing, we set up the main backdrops at the back by tying them with a rope to the pipes at the ceiling. After a few scenes, I realized I really needed to work on the transitions. I needed to know when to que the set design helpers to put props and living room/museum scene on, instruct them how to do it, find the missing props, etc etc. It really was pressure. I felt much more nervous now than any other days. But we'll make things work. God will guide us there.
When the kids finally came, they first had to listen to the rules. It was funny because MJ told them that if their parents asked where they stayed at, he told the kids to tell them that they stayed at a fancy restaurant, not a bar. Haha, hopefully that worked! There really were a lot of kids today, over 130! They all fit on the floor, so it's good we had enough space. After all that, they finally told us who our kids were. As a facilitator, we were given a number of kids to guide and to make sure they had fun. I was partnered with John Gabriel and later had Joshua added to our group. Another cool thing was that myself and Alejandro made the team names up, so it was really cool to hear the teams saying their team name and cheering as a group. That was actually the first activity we did, to make a cheer for our teams. My team was called team Adventure, and it was debatable because our theme for Kids Village was "Adventure of a Lifetime!". Oh wells haha. I really had fun making up our team cheer, and when we performed, I found that one of our kids could do a split! It was unexpected too, as she did that at the end. So many things happened tonight, and it was a success! Great job for our first day of Kids Village!

P.S: I just remembered our cheer: "Team Adventure we are cool, team adventure yeah we rule. Don't mess with us because we know what's right, just follow us and you'll be alright. GOOO TEAM ADVENTURE!!!
Aww man, it was SO CUTE. :D

Day 194: Last Set Design Meeting

Today we finally finished painting our backdrops for Kids Village! It took a while, about 10 hours but it was all worth it! Without a doubt, I do feel nervous for tomorrow. Kids Village starts Friday to Sunday and I'm nervous that we might be missing some props as some are with the CC's (couple coordinators) and some.. well, not sure. But the play doesn't start until Saturday night, so if we are missing some props, (hopefully) we'll have enough time to fix that. I also found out that the play won't be held outside, it's going to be held inside the venue they got for us. And surprisingly, our venue is held at (probably more than one) UofC's bar. It's ironic because the kids from the western part of Canada will mostly spend their time there. But hey, I saw the venue and it looks kind of... family oriented. lol. Anyway, this picture I took was a piece of the cave backdrop, we added the mountain just so it doesn't look empty. I should've took a picture of the some of the team that were helping out, but I totally forgot to take a photo until around 10pm. I also found out that I have to sleepover at the house they rented this weekend, so I'll have to pack up some beddings before I leave my home tomorrow. Hope it doesn't rain! >.<

Day 193: Cooking With Nintendo DS

This was a gift I bought for both my mom and my auntie for Christmas lol. It really was meant for all of us since they get to cook the food and we get to eat! Haha, I think this was two Christmases ago... not sure. But I'm glad I recently found this, since I wanted to learn how to cook a few things this summer. I'll probably do the easy ones first and then do the hard ones with my mom lol. Anyways, I regret not learning how to cook, even though I had some experiences at school (forgot the basics LOL). Aww man, oh well.

Day 192: Not My Best Coloring

This was really rushed.. and now that I took the time to look at it, I realize how bad the coloring is. Really really bad. The whole thing was rushed because I just really need that to be done and over with. And now I'll be moving on to doing other things for Kids Village. Let's hope we get our set design finish before the play!

Day 191: Happy Birthday to Myself

This winter, I hope to buy my own camera as my 18th present for myself. I don't have a lot of money right now... but I hope that my parents can add some money to the savings I plan to use. It is my 18th birthday after all hehe. Anyway, it's never been a big deal for me when it comes to birthday parties. And I thought it wouldn't be a big deal when it comes to my 18th birthday. But now I feel like planning my birthday, with the help of my friends of course. Don't know when, and it may be held months after July, but I'll have a party. I don't want it too big so I'll invite the people close to me and just... hang out, play games etc.. a typical birthday party. If you didn't know, my culture makes a female's 18th birthday a big occasion (coming of age debut). It's our version of North America's "sweet sixteen". Anywhoo, I guess I'm practically an adult now. But that doesn't mean I have to automatically lose my immaturity. There's no right age to become mature and I wouldn't be surprise if I feel like doing something childish at age 30+. Anyway, I was expecting to feel a big difference for turning 18, but it seems that this feeling will have to wait until I turn 20. Then I can officially tell myself that I'm becoming old. lol. Well, it rained today, and I loved the feeling of the weather. I shall also need to clean and redecorate my room soon. Maybe after this week, then I'll plan that out. Alrighty, tomorrow is my second day with my new age. Goodbye my 17 self! Hello legit/legal self. :D

Day 190: Stampede Rides

Today my family and I went to our city's annual event, the Stampede as sort of to celebrate my brother and I's birthday. We practically have the same birth date, however I'm older than him (3 years apart). The cool thing is he was born 9:15 am in the morning and I was born 9:15 pm at night. Cool hey? It would've been better if Nathaniel was also born at the same day lol. Anyway, the ride that I took a picture of was the first ride my brother and I rode on. Apart of me didn't want to go, but I thought it would be a good way to start the morning- by scaring myself a little haha. The last time I rode this, my butt was practically floating up the air when the ride went down fast. It was pretty scary too! And while it went down, it felt like forever for it to be over. Anyway, after that we continued on to other rides, and finally managed to make my auntie and cousin ride the Pharoah's Furry with my brother and I. It was hilarious. We all sat at one end and when it started to go up and higher, I found myself laughing at my auntie and cousin as they kept on saying regretful things for agreeing to go on this ride. My auntie kept on closing her eyes and my cousin told me that she teared a little. lol. After eating lunch, we headed down to the Superdog Show which started at 2:30 pm. We went early and I got to see my friend Leilanie. I actually saw a lot of people today. And to be honest... I feel really sorry about this.. I even saw some whose names I forgot O.O. Yeah, how disrespectful of me, but hey I'm a forgetful person >.<. Anyway, we went home, then to church, then to a party then home again. And now I'm writing this in my room. Yup, that will be all for today.

Day 189: Barbecue & Bad Weather

There is particularly odd about the date for when my dad plans to gather people together at Prairie Winds Park. Last summer my dad and his friends held a get together and played games at the park. After having some fun, it rained. It rained like crazy. I still remember what happened, people had to squish themselves in tight spots to avoid the rain. Good thing there were little shelters set up. This year, there are less people... because it wasn't the regular get together they usually have, it's just a particular set of people.. I think from my dad's basketball team. Anyways, just as last summer, it also rained. But before that, I had a pretty fun time. Two girls around my age saw my dad and his friend setting up the volleyball net. They asked if they could play, and so I told them they could. The other girl just sat and watch and I played against the other one. It was weird, because I usually don't talk to people I don't know. But I did, and asked questions. I think I might actually have that trait from my dad- talking to people he doesn't know and make friends with them. Haha, confidence, but I don't have that enough. Anyway, I invited her and her friend to come eat with us, but found that she was vegetarian and the other... not too sure. So I told them that we had doughnuts lol. They left when the weather became worst, but I had fun playing volleyball. I was also supposed to watch a movie with Jill and Jomar (he was going to pay for me lol) but it didn't happen. I guess that'll have to wait 'till next time.

P.S: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOMAR!!! Congratulations on becoming an adult lol. I hope this special day was fun for you. If not, there will always be a next year hehe. Thanks for being such a cool friend, and I can't wait to start the next school year with you in it... if you decide to go to mcnally. SO GO THERE :)

Day 188: Stampede Parade & Magic Show

This morning my family and I went to "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" - The Stampede. We didn't go early but we did found a pretty good place and saw a pretty good view of the parade. I would've posted a picture of the parade, but my dad was hogging the camera.. lol. Well, that's alright, he owns it anyways. Next year I'll have my own camera.. hopefully! Before the Stampede was over, we decided to leave early to eat. If we waited, there would've been a lot of people lining up which would take us a long time to get our stomachs full. So, we went to Pho.. in downtown. I was really happy at first, but found that their vermicilli didn't taste the way it should... compared to the two Pho restaurants I usually go to. ANYWAY, Jill got Jomar and I an advance birthday present (he's two days older than me >.<). And for that, she bought tickets to an illusionist's show, Derek Selinger. I really had a great time! Jill, if you are reading this, thanks for today. And thank you for your wonderful parents who gave us pizza and chicken for free lol. Anyways, on one of his illusion, he gave five bags to five different people and one of those people was Jill's sister. He said to put any personal item in the bag. Since I was holding my cell phone, I gave mine to her and she used it as her "personal item". I won't explain it, but I thought it was a pretty good trick. This guy is pretty good, though we didn't get to see some of the better illusion, we did get to see his LAST performance of his illusion called, "Beyond". I think that's what it's called. Hrmrmrm anyways, at the end he signed cards and each of us got one. I went to him twice and gave the first one to Jomar lol. Thanks again Jill for today! :D

Day 187: Four Months

Before we left for doctor's appointment/check-up, we took pictures of Nathaniel because today he turns four months! He's growing fast, however his hair is not. LOL. Oh well, he's cute with his bald head. SUPER CUTE. It's hard to resist him because he makes the most cutest faces anyone could ever make! Well, he's one of those babies. haha. But seriously, his facial expressions are too darn cute. Especially when he makes his "mad/serious" face.

Wednesday, July 7, 2010

Day 186: Diaper Change

Whenever my mom's busy and finds that Nathaniel needed to change his diaper, she would always want me to change him. I try to avoid each time that happens because he was just too tiny for me to handle. Today however, was my first time to change this little guy's diaper. I finally decided to do it because I needed to change him anytime soon anyways. Plus, he's much bigger and stronger now. So I conversed baby talk with him to make sure he doesn't cry and such. Before I clothed him, I took the camera and photographed this. Haha, what a cute little guy.

Day 185: Pocahontas & Cinderella

We watched Pocahontas and Cinderella today. It was nice, I somewhat felt like a little kid again I guess? I thought I knew what had happened with each movie but I found that there were scenes and parts I totally forgot that happened. Arielle was supposed to watch with me but during Pocahontas she went downstairs and played puzzles with my older cousin. When we watched Cinderella, she was with me this time but fell asleep a few minutes later. Oh wells, I guess she'll have to grow a little bit more and watch these classic disney films.

Day 184: A Sudden Job Interview

My family and I went to a couple of churches for the purpose of baptizing my little baby brother. Well, to plan a schedule and stuff. Anyways, after doing some other stuff, I was able to convince my dad to go to future shop. I really wanted to check out some things there but we didn't buy anything. I should've job hunted earlier, oh wells maybe I'll find a job later this summer. The funny thing is, my friend Michelle actually recommended me for this job but she only did so because she wanted to win something lol. SO later today I got a call from my cell phone and this lady tells me about their company and about how I was recommended by Michelle for their sales job. Shock, I TRIED to listen but the lady talked too fast for me to even make sense of some of the things she said. At the end of that conversation, I was left with a few jotted down information on a paper and a boxed schedule for a job interview this Wednesday at 2 pm. At first I was like, "Praise the Lord!" Then I realized I wasn't any good at confronting random people and explaining them face to face about this company's product. Gah. To be honest, I might be fine at doing that, but I really don't want to go place to place to random houses and present random people a product they probably don't want to hear. So, even though I should just go for the interview for the experience of it... I might just as well cancel the interview tomorrow. So maybe I'll just save the lady her time for something else, since I don't feel that this job is right for me. Oh well, it was definitely an interesting day today, especially now that my brother and I have a sibling war that he totally have forgotten about today. Haha, it's nothing serious, just a prank kind of thing back and forth that we've been doing a while now. But yeah, he'll be getting me back and I'll be getting him back. That's what siblings do. lol, well some siblings.

Day 183: Twelve More Days

Today we had a lot of things done for set design! I feel much more confident now than before because there were particular things I wanted to get done and those things were done today. I feel so productive! It was great as I had a lot of helpers willing to take on a task I want them to do. That drawing you see on the picture is actually one of the things I didn't want to be responsible for, since I wasn't sure on what to do for that side. So I worked on with the cave backdrop and the furniture for the living room today. I also found out that the bridge (also wasn't part of my want-to-do list) was taken care of too! I FEEL PRODUCTIVE! Lol, now we just gotta get some of the smaller props to be taken care of. And then we'd have to paint like crazy the next time we meet. OKAY, I feel much much better. I'm not as worried as I was yesterday, but hopefully we get things done on time. I still need to get my outfit too... so I'll be buying that this week. Pray for us that this event will succeed! Thanks!

Day 182: Walk Around the Neighborhood

So my brother tells me that I said last week I would go around the (public) school park beside my house to "exercise". I completely don't remember saying that to him last week but I do remember jokingly saying that weeks ago. My auntie said it was a good idea and suggested it to my mom. I didn't think they would go so I grabbed some ube ice cream, went to my room and watched Grey's Anatomy. Half way of that episode, my brother tells me to come with them. I didn't feel like it since I was getting deep into the story line of that episode. Then a few minutes later, he comes back wearing Nathaniel on his front (those straps bag thinger where you can put the baby at the front like a bag lol) and tries to lure me to come. So I paused and decided family was more important than Grey's Anatomy. After walking around the school park, we saw this sign about a movie in the park. I almost forgot about this event! My dad, brother, Aaron, and I went there last year and there were a lot of people who actually came. We wanted to watch too so we grabbed some stuff but I remember kind of regretting it since there were so many mosquitoes and it was getting cold too! Anyway, it was a pretty good experience. Today's day was overall pretty great. I took a lot of pictures of my family too hehe.

Day 181: Smile!

We had a little photo shoot at my living room as we were watching filipino series on TFC. She's growing up, isn't she? :)

Day 180: Feeling Sick

So after I got home from yesterday's hang out, my nose started to run like a faucet. Then my temperature gradually became warmer and warmer but I wasn't worried because I wasn't the type to get sick often. SO, thinking that things would be alright, I continued on with whatever I was doing. Then that night, I was kept awake because my nose just wouldn't stop running! I kept on blowing my nose hoping it would be the last one for the night but they just wouldn't give up! Anyway, when I woke up this morning I was as weak as I've ever been in a long long time. My whole body ached and I was convinced that I had some sort of virus in my system. I was planning to do some KV stuff today but had to give it up since I was just too weak and sidetracked to focus on that. I went upstairs and tried to sleep on the couch.. I failed miserably on that. My nose was still running and my head was very warm (to me) and I basically just felt like an old person. Gah. Then I finally had some sleep, not sure how long but it was enough to lessen the very warm feeling I had on my eyes and forehead. Anyways, I actually felt better (with the help of Advil :) as the time went by and was also getting back my strength! It felt weird... I felt old, tired and weak then suddenly my strength started to come back like Benjamin Button. Anyways, I guess my system is a lot stronger now, since my body is much more prepared and would know how to react to whatever germs that got through for the next time this happens. >:D
