Today is our last school day before the exams. And tomorrow I'll be doing my English 30-1 Diploma exam. Ahh! Goodluck to me. >.<
My ipod froze. I think this is the second time around it did that. Only this time, it worked again during art. Last time? It wouldn't work for months. I thought it was dead and gone, then one day I took a look at it one last time to see if I could do anything else. I put it on charge AND IT LIT UP! I've been adding songs ever since.
So I found out today that my grandpa can finally come hurr in Canada! It's been a long time since I've seen my mom and aunt jump for joy. It was nice to see how happy they were when they got the news! I hope I can talk to him easily. To ask him what he has learned in life and what advice he can give me through his experiences. Isn't it interesting when you think about it that way? To imagine what it must've been like for them in their younger days. I wish I could've asked this back when I volunteered at linkages. Oh well.
Anyways, I got into the Cybermentor program. Now I'd have to wait for them to match me up with a mentor. My (girl) friends also signed up so I hope we can exchange answers with what they learned and what I learned. It's free so there's nothing to lose if I sign up or not. I'll only gain from learning something new!
My family went to downtown today.. to shop. Haha, we haven't done any shopping so we decided to go downtown instead of the usual malls we go to. I took this picture using the reflection of the hand dryer if you were wondering.
So my brother tells me that I said last week I would go around the (public) school park beside my house to "exercise". I completely don't remember saying that to him last week but I do remember jokingly saying that weeks ago. My auntie said it was a good idea and suggested it to my mom. I didn't think they would go so I grabbed some ube ice cream, went to my room and watched Grey's Anatomy. Half way of that episode, my brother tells me to come with them. I didn't feel like it since I was getting deep into the story line of that episode. Then a few minutes later, he comes back wearing Nathaniel on his front (those straps bag thinger where you can put the baby at the front like a bag lol) and tries to lure me to come. So I paused and decided family was more important than Grey's Anatomy. After walking around the school park, we saw this sign about a movie in the park. I almost forgot about this event! My dad, brother, Aaron, and I went there last year and there were a lot of people who actually came. We wanted to watch too so we grabbed some stuff but I remember kind of regretting it since there were so many mosquitoes and it was getting cold too! Anyway, it was a pretty good experience. Today's day was overall pretty great. I took a lot of pictures of my family too hehe.
We were supposed to be celebrating Father's Day on Saturday by watching a movie, but my dad didn't feel like going to the movies. We planned it of course days before, but I guess he didn't feel like going anymore since my mom couldn't come (had to take care of the baby). We proceeded with the plan, my brother insisted it lol. We watched Karate Kid and I'm not sure why people are making such a fuss about it. It was an okay movie. It was nothing great or anything. It wasn't as great as I thought it would be but it was alright. And for those who read this post, you know that I can't drink anything besides water and milk (exception, chocolate milk :D). Anyway, I was hoping my auntie wouldn't buy me any drinks or anything, since I told her about that.. but when I arrived there (my bro and I had to wait since we couldn't fit in the car :[ ), I saw that they bought large, cold, tasty drinks waiting on the table. I was like DAAARN. I didn't said anything, I only held the darn drink. I ate some popcorn, and my throat was itching up, and I had the temptation to drink, BUT I didn't. SUCCESS. I really thought that I would have to extend my forty days again (I failed it after 5 days accidentally), but I was able to stop myself from thinking of the drink and focused on the movie. Maybe I didn't enjoy Karate Kid because of that... hrmmrmr I'll never know. But the movie really was okaay, nothing big for me.
NOTE: The girl on the very right is my cousin who I thought was my auntie for a looong time until my mom told me. It was weird for me. Ha.
