Today was a good day. I feel a little spoiled though when I found out that the art mediums my teacher has been giving us were for us to keep! OMG. JUST. AWESOME. I haven't used them yet... but I will soon. I also found out that my maternal grandfather might have a chance to finally come here in Canada. I really hope he passes the health test or something... I want to ask him questions about the past and have conversations with him. I feel pretty good about my physics test too, let's hope I did well!
Uhmm what else.. oh chyeaah. It was naice talking to youu todaii. :]
My friends and I went to Pho again.. they were craving that's why. I didn't have any money, so Kristine and Jomar rock, paper, scissored so that one of them can pay for me. lol.
Thanks Lanie... even though my birthday was two months ago. lol jks. I think this is really nice. Remember what I said? That gifts made by hand was waaay better than a gift that is bought. Unless it was expensive and that person worked hard for the money and stuff lol. I'll shall do the same for you ahahahahaha.. but what to do.. I'm running out of ideas to give! Oh well.. as long as my heart is in it, then a hand-made gift should be enough..right? :)
I was doing physics all afternoon and decided to join the tokbox that my friends invited me to. I wasn't gonna, since I was almost done my questions..but since my friend Kristine said that Jomar wanted me online, I decided that maybe he can help me with my homework. Well.. at least he tried. lols. We ended up just chatting on tokbox and had some few laughs (OMG JOMAR, our eyes are scarred lol) while doing schoolwork at the same time. I got so distracted that I....... FORGOT to take a picture! OMGOGMGOGM. asfghjklasdfghjkl. I wasn't thinking straight. I was going to take a picture earlier.. but got sidetracked by my thoughts. asdfghjklasdfghjkl. THIS.IS.SO.SADDENING. Discouraging... when I found out that I missed September 27th just by 27 mins... I died a little. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture... if I only I took a picture earlier or before I went on tokbox... then this wouldn't be the case.
I told myself, "you know... in other parts of Canada... it's actually 1 or more hours earlier.." It still didn't help though. Man.. just by 27 mins..and I missed it. gaah. I feel like this whole 365 project has lost it's meaning. sigh. But I will finish it though.. hopefully.
My family noticed how yellow the trees were. Since my cousin is new here, they told her that we'd be taking pictures outside of our house when we get home from church. Yeeah we took a lot of pictures. We ended up having our own family photoshoot lol.
Whenever we go to church, I always try to listen to what the priest is saying. I REALLY do! The only problem? I can't understand what he's saying! There would be times when I get the beginning but then later on he says a sentence that is too accented for me to understand. I'm not trying to be racist here... it's just that it sucks when I can't understand what he's saying and I end up thinking about other things while pondering around the church. Like today, I was really paying attention to his words hoping I won't lose him. Then his accent becomes blurry and instead of paying attention to the message, I pay attention to when I can understand him again. :( Then I lose my thoughts and think of other things. I really try to listen... oh well. Hmmm I wonder how many people feel the same way as I do too?
About two months ago we had this event called "Kids Village" for Kids for Christ. We were supposed to have an after party but due to a busy summer, they decided to postponed it.. until now. We had the party today and I got to see the R.O.C.K Leaders whom I haven't seen for a while. I also found out something, that I'm socially awkward.
I think it's more like... I've realized that I am socially awkward. I just didn't took the time to understand why I'd feel uncomfortable with people sometimes. I'm not THAT awkward... just a little more than a little bit. Like today for example. There was this guy. I don't know him that much but I can definitely say that we've gotten closer.. otherwise he wouldn't talk to me lol. Anyway, we talked to a point where I just became silent.. nodding my head and saying "yeah" "uh-huh" and "idunno". I didn't know what else to say.. I got nervous and so the conversation was dying off and I pretended that I was paying attention to the gaming corner. Then we stopped talking. gah. I really wanted to talk more.. it's just that the moment became awkward. Err.. I became awkward. :( Iunno. Maybe I'm socially awkward to certain types of people. There was this other guy who talked to me and we had a good conversation. It wasn't awkward or anything, we just talked. I didn't feel awkward at all and I wanted to keep on talking but we were interrupted when the MC was called to say something. I think that when a person has an interest in talking to me and more on the subject that we have a say and know about... then the moment isn't awkward for me. Especially when that person tries to converse more, then I'm more likely to feel comfortable than if he or she shows some sort of disinterest. Does that make any sense? Iunno.. Maybe that other guy made me awkward because he was also beginning to feel awkward too. Maybe I'm not socially awkward.. maybe I become uncomfortable when the other person feels the same way too or when that person loses interest in the subject (and I know about it). sigh. I'm all over the place aren't I? *deep breath* Okay, that's it for tonight. Byee.
After school my friends and I decided to watch a scary movie at Sunridge Cineplex. But before that, we waited at school and saw two lacombers (who were going to watch a different movie with Jomar)! OMG QUY! I haven't seen you in soo loooong! I wished I could've hanged out with you that day but since I had other plans, I hope to hang out with you on a different time! ANYWAY, I gave Quy and Maria big hugs since we don't see them too much... especially Quy :) After that, we headed to the theatre via Louie's car. He has this really big stereo and so we could feel the beat of the music as we sang along to the songs. The movie didn't start until one hour later, so we did other stuff until then. I think the only people who screamed during the movie was Kristine and I.... I screamed a little ONLY because Kristine was beside me and her head was at my shoulders hiding. Whenever she screamed I have the tendency to scream with her LOL. After that we went to Sunridge Mall to "window shop". I wasn't planning on buying anything, but then I saw this SUPERMAN T-SHIRT and I couldn't resist not buying it! Today is the premier of Smallville and so I decided to buy it on impulse. I regret it a little bit though. >.<
Sigh. I wasn't really myself at the mall. And so I got mad over the little things that surprisingly hurt me. Then I thought about the other problems I had.. and I added it to the moment. If you both knew just what you did... I think you both can relate. But I'll let it go I guess.
P.S. Thanks Jill for the text :) I'll keep you in mind when I need someone to talk to.
My math teacher gives us stickers when we do well on our assignments, quizzes and test. They are actually scented stickers! I like the smell of this one :)
After school, Jomar and I decided to stay for the Hero's Project to practice the worship songs along with other dedicated christian schoolmates. We were only supposed to stay there for a few minutes (bus wasn't going to come for a while), but Mr. Sanesh wasn't done talking yet and we didn't want to interrupt him. He took a while, so we stayed :) I'm actually glad I stayed.. if I didn't then I'd have to hold Nathaniel for two hours lolol. NOT that I don't want to hold him, it's just that I get tired of holding him for too long. But when I did got home, my dad was having fun playing with him. I guess it's a win win situation in a way? Anyway, it's my dad's birthday today and so we decided to throw him a little mini party by cooking good food and making him blow his birthday candle on his birthday cake. lol. I heard that most adults would rather not celebrate their birthday nor blow any candle from a birthday cake... since it's a reminder that they're getting older. I'm not sure about my dad though.. I didn't catch him saying anything so we made sure that he goes along with the occasion lolol.
This season's first episode of Glee would've been much more exciting if I got to hear what the characters were saying. If only my family were a little bit more quieter and asked less questions about what's happening, then it would've been an awesome first episode for me. Don't get me wrong though, I really was excited to watch Glee with them too, but I think next time I'll be watching Glee by myself lol. One thing that's bothering me though was how my mom and auntie kept on asking where Charice was. I thought they would be interested in the show itself... but their minds were focused on seeing her sing and act. I kinda guessed that would happened- since they haven't seen the first season and suddenly they hear a filipino star acting on Glee. Iunno, it kinda hurt my feelings just a little pffftt..lol. Oh yeah, during the commercials, I would try and do some math before the show comes on. I failed miserably... the commercials were entertaining that's why ahahah.
I forgot how these little Oh Henry bars tasted. So I opened one (which I got from English class lol) and chewed a piece off it. IT.WAS.GOOD. All the more reason to go trick or treating? Heck yeah!
On a different note...hope I see you tomorrow.. :]
I tried to make it look like an old photo...did it work? I think it worked okay. Anyway, my mom is starting to feed Nathaniel with food other than milk. He needs to get used to eating these types of food soon. Even though I prefer him drinking milk (I read somewhere that the longer a baby is fed with milk, the smarter that baby is lol). Think those kinds of things are real? Hmmm..iunno...maybe?
