Lately he's been doing that a lot haha. It's cute, but I have to stop him from doing so or else he'll start having a habit of sucking his thumb..and that's bad. If this happens, his two front teeth will be out of place unless this habit doesn't occur. So, I let him suck his fist for a few seconds and then take it out. Notice how his shoes looks like a heart? :)
Yesterday at lunch, a few grade 12-ers were telling a lot of students that there would be a food fight happening today during lunch time. After that, many went to the principal's office to tell them about what was happening on Friday, during lunch. I was glad when they announced that they were closing the cafeteria, and so we went to school the next day thinking that there wouldn't be any food fight. I actually forgot about it, but was then reminded after arriving from McDonalds with some friends (we had a spare) and saw a lot of people starting to crowd around the cafeteria. I actually brought my dad's Canon, and so I had the chance of capturing just how much people knew about the fight. It was crazy! The amount of students who were just standing there, curious and ready for some action. I really was hoping that the food fight wouldn't happen since there were teachers standing by including the principal. THEN, someone had to throw food up the air and soon everyone else started joining in. Just after 5 seconds, there was a MASS student stampede! Everyone was running the other way, hoping that they won't get hit by food. It was all new to me actually, and was quite terrible. Two people I knew actually got hurt, but nothing serious. Phew, what an interesting day. I took a lot of pictures too. But I'll probably upload them some other time. I hate uploading pictures on facebook. >.<
So this morning I was told by Louie that my art teacher had bought me an art sketch/drawing book. :D I was shock actually, since I have no idea why she would do that. And to be honest, I felt pretty special >.< Louie also got one too but only smoother, mine is a little rougher. Anyway, I was still pretty surprised when she gave me this drawing book that half the things she said to me went flying out of my ear. I can't recall whether or not there was a reason for her buying this... lol. So I'm hoping that I get to take home some of my artwork like my drawing of Arielle. Anyway, I'm planning to draw something nice on this book, I'm just not sure of which one to draw first. Suggestions? Hehe. On another note, my meeting for Kids Village with Junnel and Alejandro today went pretty well! I am SO GLAD that we had that meeting, otherwise it would be a little harder to figure out the materials we need before the end of the week. Last Sunday as I've said before was chaotic, but I have a very good feeling that this Sunday will be better. THANKS AND PRAISE BE TO GOD! :D
Today marked the first time I've EVER overslept! I actually woke up thinking that it was a weekend and then after 5 seconds realized that it was a weekday. It was kind of funny, I was staring at the clock for a good 5 seconds and then my eyes widened and finally realized that I was late for school! I needed help with the assignment due today so I decided to show up the first period instead of skipping it. I'm not so sure why I didn't wake up... but I do have a few theories. lols. First, maybe my alarm clock didn't work. Second, maybe I was in such a deep sleep that I ignored the alarm. Third, my dream was so interestingly nice that I ignored the alarm. Fourth, my dream was so nice that it put me into a deep sleep. lols.. I really like that dream, but at the same time.. wished I didn't dreamt it. >.< Anyways, we had a meeting today regarding the new community center at Saddleridge. I liked the part where we drew a person that wore an aspect of all the programs we'd like to see for the new community center. It was drawn on a T-shirt, and it was nice. Haha.
Today was the day to vote for the students who are running against other students for a position in the student council. lols, too many student words >.< And in order to make sure that no one votes twice, they had to draw a smiling "stamp" on our hands. At the end of the day, they gathered all the results and announced the winners. I think all of the people I know who are running for their positions won. Hehe, good job guys! :)
So we had our first hectic meeting today for Kids Village... and it was pretty chaotic! I feel really bad because I was so unprepared, so was my partner too. I should have contacted him sooner and talked about the material's list gah >.< And I totally forgot about reading the script! Well I have one week to start listing what we need, especially to give out jobs for the couple coordinators (CC's) and to the others helping out. I am pretty bummed out too.. as this is the first time I'm directing people to "do this" and "do that". I'm not used to this.. well at least independently. I had my friends helping me out with the other events, but this.. this is quite different. Or maybe I'm just overreacting? Well, I know we'll get through this.
Anyways, it's actually forty days until the event from now. So in order to make this more special and to strengthen the team, we all have agreed to implement a team fast and prayer time. For the fasting, we agreed to ONLY drink milk and water. No juice, no pop, nothing besides milk and water. >.< And for the prayer time, we agreed to set this around 9 pm. So when it's 9, most of us will set up a prayer dedicated for KV. I really like how we are doing this, I think it's a really nice way to bring all of us together though we are separate from each other. Well, it's going to be a challenging job, but with God, nothing is impossible. Pray for us!
My brother had a haircut today and decided to wear his grad suit to see if he looked better or not lol. He was supposed to get a mohawk or something, but ended up having this style. Before this cut, his hair was very bushy! It was ridiculously wavy too. My mom actually felt a little better when the lady cut a strand of his hair- since it meant that his hair will be FINALLY shortened haha. I was actually going to get my haircut too, but then decided to hold it off until after the exams or something. Anyway, here's another noisy photo. Man, I really need to be patient and learn this camera's settings >.<
I tried to sneak out without Arielle knowing, but she found me lols. So then I made her my photo of the day :) We also went out and walked to the park.. with mah T-shirt. haha. She got angry after we went home actually, since she still wanted to spend more time outside with me awweeee. lol She actually wanted to go to the park haha. oh wells, I gots to clean my room soon before my cousin comes from the Philippines! Darn, it's pretty messsy >.<

So today the members of YMCA from our school attended a special event for Teenzone. It was basically an event where members from the program come up the stage and share some of their fun experiences and how the program affected their lives. There were also really talented kids who did stand up comedies. Most of them were really funny lols. On behalf of the YMCA members from our school, Jomar also went up to share some things to the audience. It was funny in the end since he lastly said, "And I hope Teenzone will fund the YMCA from our school again next year". I think that was what he said... was it? lol. Anyway, the place we went to was held at this junior high (Terry Fox) and they had a pretty cool mural on the right side wall when coming in from the entrance. I took this one with my Sony Ericsson Camera. It's been a long time actually since I posted a picture using this phone. Haha, I guess I want better quality photos! Well, that's about it.
I've been spending too much time on photography that I'm beginning to feel addicted on improving my skills. I really want to get adobe photoshop too, but too bad I don't have the money. It sucks because I'm relying too much on editing rather than the settings on the camera. Gaah. I wish I got into photography at a younger age.. on the plus side, I've got the rest of my life to improve! Well that kind of sounds depressing in a way. Anyways, I think the more I get into photography, the more I forget my skills for graphite drawing. O.O I guess I just feel that way, but really, all other pressures have really made me feel... like I don't have enough time. I know I've got lots of time ironically, but still.. I feel stuck in the middle because I just want all the worrying/to-do lists to go away so that I could just move on my own pace. There really is no one else to blame on why I feel like this but myself. On another note, I need to stop taking things so lightly and take things much more seriously. Also, I've got to stop procrastinating.. a near impossible task but it really is possible. Lastly, I need to wake up.. because lately I've been living on a dream than reality.
