My little cousin is uberly cute but sometimes she can be very loud and mean. >.< She's pretty smart too! I'm curious to know how she will be like a year from now. (-Flashback!-) Hmm, wow, it really is amazing how much she changed. Though she is too cute now, I liked her better when she was just around 5 months old. Haha, I guess I'll be cherishing the moments I have with my little baby brother before he becomes loud and mean too. In the meantime, I'll have to deal with my baby cousin's habit of throwing objects around, shouting "Ate!" and "Harryl!" (haha, yes, she calls my brother by his name rather than "kuya") very loudly and cutely, her habit of crying if I leave her for schoolwork, her curiosity by looking through my stuff and so much more!
P.S: "Ate" (Ahh-teh) refers to females older than you (like a big sister) and "kuya" refers to males older than you too (like big brother).
It's April... and it's snowing?! Wow, my city's weather is very confused. Anyway, I'm supposed to be at school today, but due to the massive amount of blood coming out of my nose, I decided to stay home. I also have the weather to sort of thank for I guess.. since I don't have to do my Math test today! There were a lot of schools that closed actually but unfortunately, mine wasn't. Well, I guess I should do some of my homework now, since this weekend is going to be soupaah busy!
Since Nikol and many others couldn't make it for the YMCA meeting, we were given a binder for us to design. At first I thought we were going to give it away, but then found out that it was for us to keep. It's not very creative, but I like it :) Oh, I should glue some of them on, that caterpillar is falling off!
After school, people were crowding around these very talented people who came to our school and presented a little workshop for us in the morning. My class was fortunate to see the presentation since only those who's teachers booked the theater could watch. Best part of it all? The beat boxer!!! Wow, that guy is really good at what he does including making people laugh! Anyway, my friends and I got distracted after school since those talented people made a little session as you can see from the picture. We were supposed to finish our showcase for the Art Show next Thursday, but due to the cheering and the "WHOAOAAAAA'S" we were hearing, we kind of slipped away to see their session. Hehe, I hope they come back next year!
To some people, rain can be depressing. They feel gloomy and start reminiscing about the special moments in their lives. That happens to me too, sometimes. For me when it rains, I feel cool, calm and composed. There's something about the rain that makes me feel mellow and I think it's a pretty awesome feeling. Don't you just want to snuggle up with someone when that kind of atmosphere comes along? Or maybe read a book and drink hot chocolate by a window? Or maybe this is just me? Hmm, in my mind atm, I am picturing myself reading a book with hot chocolate AND scratching the back of "my cat" beside a window. Haha, well that's definitely just me I guess.
I guess it's too late, I'm dancing this dance alone.
This chapter's done, the story goes on.
Today's event was successful! It went by fast actually. Hmm favorite part of the day? When all of the YMCA members who were there ditched the other gym and played a four on four LOL. Anyway, it was awkward when I saw Chris since I pretended not to see him on the bus one time (because I was too dead tired to talk). Then when I decided to participate on this contest (above picture), he saw me and wanted a KETCHUP REMATCH! So, being the awesome leader that I am (HAHA), I agreed. Unfortunately for him, I won... I think. Anyway, it snowed again. Great. Well, I'm going to study now for my Biology exam next month (May 10th). I'm probably 20+ chapters behind >:'(
Before Saturday's event, we had to make sure that people were registered first. So today was registration day and part of what we had to do was play with the players and make sure they are comfortable and have fun. So there was a free-play and a speech given to those who came today for tomorrow's basketball tournament. I played with the little kids and to my surprise, we sucked. LOL, they were too good! And plus they were in elementary too :'( (or in grade 7?) Anyways, it was pretty fun. :)
P.S: The guy posing is my friend Jomar if you were wondering :D
Some organization actually brought this car over at our school to show the students how much damage drinking and driving can actually make. It's surprising to see how damaged this car is. The only part where it is not damaged is the left back seat (looking from this view). One of my best friends actually survived a car crash... unfortunately, her brother and her dad didn't. It's a miracle that she survived, and I thank God for having her in my life :)
Anyway, I found out something today. It made me upset, but after a while I felt indifferent. Though it makes me sad that I actually still care a little, then again I'm glad that it doesn't bother me so much anymore. I'm glad that I was too distracted to care actually during those few months, and I hope ASAP that your presence won't be of any value to me anymore. THAT would make me happy.
Wow, there are now 18 members in YMCA and though that number may be small, it's actually a pretty big number. Too bad it's almost the end of the year, hopefully the members we have now will also come back the next school year. Anyway, Nicole gave us some snacks which explains this picture I took :)
I was stamping information on little thin wooden cards after school for the art show we are hosting next month. It was a little tedious, but finally got it done eventually.
This is a flower from me to you :) Too bad it's dying.. :(
My brother and Arielle wandering around after mass ended.
I actually didn't take this picture, my mom did. Hehe, he just looked so CUTE so I couldn't help but post this as today's post. >.<
I saw a video from David Choi about his "Bieber Fever", and I pretty much agree on his opinion. Hmm, it kind of bothers me how so much people hate on Justin Bieber. I've noticed too that some of my fb "friends" joined groups on how lame he is, but is it really their own decisions that they dislike him or is it because their friends dislike him? I'm not a fan but I do admire his talent on singing. To some people: face it, he's too talented and you're just jealous. On another note, he is pretty young, cocky and sings about "love", but what can you do when a big star tells you he'll make you famous? That would be hard to turn down. So don't judge the kid so easily. Maybe there's more to him than what he prefers to show his audience.
P.S: About the picture... I went outside for a minute and decided to take a photo of that plant. >.<
There's not much to remember on this particular day. Except that it's the first time I played some games on Miniclip in such a looong time! That's all. lol
We had Art Committee today and so I assigned myself to paint one of two names, "Jack" and "Sophie" on one of two little chairs. Louie wanted to paint "Sophie" so I painted "Jack". The most memorable about this day is how this girl from grade 10 wouldn't stop talking. I didn't want to laugh but John and Louie just kept saying things that were too funny to ignore. And the look on Ingrid's face as the girl kept talking was priceless. lol, I actually missed the YMCA meeting just because my art teacher was going to buy us McDonalds >.< Anyway, I shouldn't have skipped the YMCA meeting... now I have to figure out what I need to do in the next event! There were also new members on board, and so I'm pretty excited to meet them next week. Goodnight!
Now that my mom and my baby brother is at home I find myself always wanting to pause for over an hour and spend my time holding Nathaniel. If I'm not holding him, then I find myself changing my little cousin's diapers.. lol. It's not as bad as my first experience, since now I've gotten used to washing her cute little bum and the nice thing is we have our own little conversations every now and then. Though most of the time I find myself laughing really hard since she says the cutest/funniest things! ANYWAY, my cute little baby brother also makes me smile like crazy! He makes funny faces when he's awake and the only way I could handle such cuteness is to kiss him on his cute little face. Even though he's a little bit bigger, he's still really tiny!
Since this is my 100th post, I really wanted it to be somewhat special :) I wasn't so sure on what to take a picture of so I decided to let you guys see a teaser of my latest drawing. If you've seen the movie, well obviously it's Neytiri from the movie called Avatar. If you guys haven't seen it already, then make sure you see it! Anyway, I hope this is special enough, enjoy! :)
In the next three months I would have to work my butt off and make sure that the roles I was assigned to do will be a success. This summer, Calgary will be hosting the "Kids Village" event! I haven't been in this event yet and so I'm pretty excited and nervous to attend it. I think I'm mostly nervous because I was picked to be one of two people in charge of the play scenery. So this is kind of intimidating since I would have to use my creativity in a way I've never done so before. Besides that, I was also assigned to be a secondary facilitator. I'm not so sure of what I need to do but I think I am given a number of kids and teach them something? Hmm, or maybe I'll be the main facilitators' assistant. Not too sure... but overall, I really hope this event will be a success and not a small mistake will be made..otherwise it could ruin the whole event. Okay, I'm going to think happy thoughts now -__- Goodnight!
Today was the first time I got to see some of the kids in Kids for Christ. It was kind of an awkward meet actually. Well to make it a short run-on sentence, I was one hour late and when I arrived I was hugged by a friend and accidentally hit me on the head pretty hard but I showed no pain then I was told that the R.O.C.K Leaders were either outside or in another room and so my first attempt was to look for them outside and so I opened the door which had a warning sign I ignored and BAM a loud ringing alarm suddenly came on and some pretty chill adults warned me not to go there and joked about me having my glasses on and not seeing the warning sign and then a door opened and VOILA the kids and the R.O.C.K Leaders were there all along. Hmm, I think I made that too long lol. Anyway, I was pretty embarrassed then but it faded as I got to meet the kids especially this particular kid who looks waaay younger than his grade level. The only thing I am sad about? Forgetting to take a picture >:( So I took a picture of this smiley frisbee since I was going to bring this to the assembly.. but forgot to do so. Haha oh wells.
I've been working on my latest drawing and I'm glad to say that it's halfway done! I probably would've finished it before spring break but due to other distractions I was pulled-back from that and did what I wanted to do instead. Haha, not that I don't like to draw, I just really want to get this drawing over with! It's been lying beside my desk for quite some time now and I really want to start drawing something new. Perhaps a gift maybe...? Well, hopefully I get it done before my school's Art Show!
I think I took this picture in the morning..? Hmm, anyway... this image is supposed to (kind of) represent spring. But ironically it started snowing in the afternoon! It snowed like crazy since the lights were flickering on and off too many times. Then electricity practically fainted for a loong while and now it's back on again. No need to rant really, I had my baby brother and little cousin to cheer me up! :)
Thanks to Jomar and Maria for a pretty interesting day. Though today's plans almost didn't happen lol. Oh and I found this gif of the movie Sherlock Holmes. I thought it was pretty funny haha. :P
So today's plans were very unstable.. but we got through it anyways :) Thanks Leilanie for the food, I should cook my eggs the way you cooked yours haha. Anyway, I watched two movies with my friends today. We were going to rent one scary and one comedy at blockbuster and after all those effort we didn't get the movies there. BUT we did got it from Rogers, thanks to Lanie's dad! Anyway this week will be a busy week for me. I gots plans coming up =) And a date! Haha, it's not what you guys think, it's my friend's corny way to have a one on one talk ;). Tomorrow I'll be going to Jomar's house (finally!) just to hang out (with Maria too) and then on Thursday I will either go to a friend's house then go to a worship night with my youth. My date's going to be either that night or this saturday after the General Assembly. Kind of a busy week ain't it? Haha, well I guess I need to stop watching too much Grey's Anatomy now and do the other things I planned to do before school starts. Alrighty, byeee :)
So I've been trying to catch up with some belated gifts but I think this will be the only one I can do for the time being. Sorry that this took so long too :(. Anyway, if you are reading this and I still haven't given you a gift, don't worry, you're on my list :).. unless I forgot to put you on that list :( haha there's always a next birthday -__-. Hopefully I do get to make another one before school starts! Hmmmm.
My brother and I ate these gum before we watched a movie. They are not really that different than the other gums. The only difference is that they have a layered gooey middle layer and they are thicker than before. Unless you know something I don't? Haha ;P
Cute little tiny feet, aren't they? =)
I don't really want to talk much about this day.. all there is to say is that my grandma's in a better place now. Thanks to everyone who prayed for her health, it really meant a lot. Even though she didn't get to see my little cousin and baby brother, I know she'll see them from up above. Rest in peace grandma, we love you tons.
Finally a break from school! I've been so busy for the last few weeks because of the workload and studying we had to do. What am I most happy about? That we don't have Biology anymore!!! Well, I'll still have to study for the AP exams in May but at least I don't have to sacrifice my time to sleep every night. The last two days I actually didn't get enough sleep because of Bio. But good thing that's done. Anyway, after the half-day school we had, I came home and decided to make a gift for John. I wasn't planning to because I was pretty tired. Then I remembered I made a lot of origami triangles so I decided to make him a gift rather than waiting until the end of the spring break. I didn't know what I should make so I decided to do an easy one: the bear. Anyway he held his party/get together at Sumo restaurant and man it's so expensive there! I think that was my 3rd or 4th time but this time I had to pay for myself. But it was worth it though since the Chicken Teriyaki (what I always order hehe) was DELICIOUS! Anyway, I came home with a pretty FULL stomach and now I get to do whatever I want! No homework for a while! YEEEY :D
